Skills Classes

Oakland DBT and Mindfulness Center's DBT program staff have all been intensively trained by The Linehan Institute, Behavior Tech. The DBT classes are taught using the curriculum developed Dr. Marsha Linehan and her associates.  The fee for an 8 week module is $640, fee for a 9 week module is $720  - payment is due at the time of enrollment.

DBT skills classes have been shown to be effective for people who have challenges with emotional dysregulation, high reactivity to stress, difficulty making decisions, chaotic relationships, "moodiness" and more. DBT skills are an adjunct to individual therapy.
